This Rulebook and Work Plan of the School represents an addendum that must be used and interpreted in conjunction with the Agreement which the student (or their legal representative) has concluded with the School.
Classes for preschool and school-age children, as well as for older students, last ten (10) months (from September to June), and are aligned with holidays and non-working days of public educational institutions.
Classes conclude with the final lesson within the lesson quota presented in Section 5 of this Rulebook, also outlined in the Agreement. Concerts, exams,and other activities may be organized after the allocated lesson quota has been fulfilled, but students will be timely informed of such events via the Work Calendar, which the School publishes at the beginning of each academic year to allow students to plan accordingly.
Each student enrolled in a specific music education program is required to:
- Regularly attend classes according to the plan, program, and schedule determined by the School, with mandatory attendance matching the number of lessons stated in the signed Agreement.
- Regularly pay the agreed tuition fee, with the option to pay the tuition in monthly installments as specified in the Agreement.
- In the case of installment payments, the student accepts possible adjustments to future unpaid installments due to changes in legislation regulating taxes and other obligations to the budget of the Republic of Serbia that were not in effect at the time the Agreement was signed.
- In the event of a delay in payment of due installments, the student must inform the School of the reason for the delay and propose a new payment date.The newly agreed date must not affect the due dates of other tuition installments.
- Irregular attendance or withdrawal from the program does not exempt the student from paying any due, unpaid installments, except in cases specified in Article 7 of this Rulebook and Work Plan.
- Cover the cost of textbooks, instruments, notebooks, sheet music, and other auxiliary music materials necessary for education, as well as compensate the School for any damage caused while on the School's premises.
- Notify the School of an absence at least 48 hours before the scheduled class,unless circumstances prevent such timely notice.
- Participate in concerts when their participation is planned. All students,except preschool music program participants, may choose to take classical stateexams, Yamaha exams, or Rockschool exams if they wish.
The School is committed to providing regular and high-quality instruction according to the pre-established plan, program, and schedule in its facilities, which are intended and equipped for music education. Classes are conducted either individually or in groups.
If the student has opted for group lessons, the School reserves the right to merge students from different groups of the same course if the number of students in any group decreases during the course.
The School reserves the right to alter the schedule if extraordinary circumstances require it, while informing students in advance about any such changes.
The School may reschedule a missed class only if the absence is justified. Ajustified absence is one that is notified in advance and due to illness. Notice must be given at least 48 hours in advance, except when circumstances prevent it. Make-up lessons are only available for students enrolled in individual lessons.
The School is obligated to:
- Offer three (3) alternative class times if unable to hold a class at the scheduled time, applicable only to short-term schedule changes.
- Organize a knowledge assessment exam after the completion of the course, for students who have opted to take the exam (not applicable to the Music Parade and Music Adventure programs).
The School observes public and religious holidays and, in coordination with public and private educational institutions of the Republic of Serbia, will not operate on such days, in line with government recommendations. This does not affect the planned lesson quota. The School’s Work Calendar is published each September and is in accordance with regulations and standards.
The School is obligated to consider a student's justified request for amendments to any clause in the signed Agreement and reserves the discretionary right to accept such a request, provided it does not conflict with this Rulebook and Work Plan.
The planned annual lesson quota is as follows:
- 38 lessons for students attending once per week
- 76 lessons for students attending twice per week
- 152 (for grades I–III of music school) / 190 (grades IV–V) / 228 (grade VI)lessons for students preparing for exams in a state-recognized music school.
For all programs, the number of monthly lessons may vary depending on holidays, breaks, and scheduled school events, but the total annual quota must be met.
Tuition and all other payments are made exclusively via the School’s dinar bank account No. 265-1630310009414-03 , maintained with "Raiffeisen Bank" a.d. Belgrade, in accordance with the signed Agreement.
The School reserves the right to terminate the Agreement if the student fails to fulfill their obligations, disruptsclass, insults staff or instructors, or other students, or otherwise endangers the operation or property of the School.
The student may exceptionally terminate the Agreement by submitting a written request (including email correspondence) and providing proof in the event of:
- contracting a contagious disease;
- suffering serious physical injuries requiring hospitalization for more than 30 days;
- a change of residence; or
- by mutual agreement with the School.
The student is obligated to settle all due installments up to the date of the termination request. Prepaid installments will be credited toward the next enrollment period. If the program is not offered again, the School will refund the amount covering the period from the date of the termination request to the end of the paid period.
The School will not consider the Agreement terminated unless the student communicates the termination in writing or verbally (including by email). In such cases, the student remains enrolled, and all obligations from the Agreement and this Rulebook and Work Plan remain in effect.
When concluding the Agreement, the party assuming obligations on behalf of the minor student and signing the Agreement in the minor’s name is the student’s legal guardian.
The School is obligated, during all classes and other activities related to music education or other registered business activities, to take all necessary measures to protect the rights and safety of minors, in accordance with applicable laws of the Republic of Serbia.
